Gregory Sloggett (born 3 July 1996) is an Irish professional footballer who plays for English National League club Hartlepool United, as a midfielder.
Career
Born in Gormanston, [2] Sloggett began his career with UCD, before signing for Derry City for the 2019 season, [3] [4] where he turned professional. [5] [6] He was an important player for the club, [7] [8] but left to sign for Dundalk for the 2020 season. [9] He made 160 appearances in all competitions for Dundalk, which included 16 appearances in the UEFA Europa League. [1]
After a trial with the club, [10] Sloggett signed for League One side Cheltenham Town in February 2024. [11] [12] [13] He was released by the club at the end of the 2023–24 season. [14]
On 15 July 2024, he signed for National League side Hartlepool United. [15]
Personal life
His girlfriend Chloe Mustaki is also a footballer. [16]
