Currently this seat belongs to Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Shyam Prakash who won in last Assembly election of 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Elections defeating Samajwadi Party candidate Rajeshwari by a margin of 31,378 votes. [1]
