Gohelwar was one of the four prants or traditional provinces of Saurashtra, the others being Jhalawar or Jhalavad, Halar, and Sorath.
Gohelwar covered the southeast of the Kathiawar peninsula, and roughly corresponds to the modern Bhavnagar District and Botad district.
