According to the 2002 census, the village had a total of 1,295 inhabitants. [1] Ethnic groups in the village include: [1]

In statistics gathered by Vasil Kanchov in 1900, the village of Gloǵi was inhabited by 210 Orthodox Bulgarians. [2]
