Glaucocharis interruptus is a moth in the family Crambidae. [1] It was first described by Cajetan von Felder, Rudolf Felder and Alois Friedrich Rogenhofer in 1875. It is endemic to New Zealand. [2]
This species was first described by Cajetan von Felder, Rudolf Felder and Alois Friedrich Rogenhofer in 1875 and named Crambus interruptus. [3] In 1882 Edward Meyrick, thinking he was describing a new species, named the species Diptychophora astrosema. [4] Meyrick went on to describe the species in detail under that name in 1883. [5] In 1885 Meyrick corrected this synonymy. [6] [7]
