It took portions of the former Farragut Community School District when the State of Iowa dissolved it on July 1, 2016. [3]
It is one of several school districts that accepts high school students from the K-8 Hamburg Community School District of Hamburg. [4]
The district operates two schools on one campus in Tabor:
The Knights compete in the Corner Conference in the following sports: [5]
Should the Farragut district be shut down, however, Hamburg would seek to create a K-8 district and send its high school students to Shenandoah, Sidney and Fremont-Mills, which Wells said have already been approached by Hamburg.
