When I created this image, I took precautions to preserve the character data from which I derived the spacings in the left column. They are in a hidden <text>
node with id="spacing_brackets"
and are placed exactly where they need to be in order to do this. Therefore, if the
DejaVu Sans font ever changes its spacing characters, it would be a simple task to load up this in
Inkscape and convert the text to paths to distill the spacings into a <path>
