Here's a thread I started on Mindat to research the matter. Given that the stated dimensions and mass of the nugget yield a density similar to other specimens, and that there are a couple of bigger native platinum specimens depicted on that site, I have no reason to doubt what you've posted. And I should have done that first instead of yelling. In short: I'm sorry; that looks like one epic nugget you've got there.
