I just check what links here and it links to the Masturbation article so I think it should qualify for inclusion. – Jerry teps 03:38, 6 August 2008 (UTC) reply

I couldn't agree more with 24.98.229.85. This adds no informative value to the page, especially as there is already a drawing depicting male masturbation at the top of the page. A quick look at Richiex's other contributions demonstrate that he just enjoys posting photographs of his penis on Wikipedia.-- Topdownjimmy ( talk) 19:32, 17 August 2008 (UTC) reply

Sorry, maybe when you read it, but there is no other picture of male masturbation on the page. Not to put you on the spot, but pictures of girls masturbating and such are rarely ever contested. Whether the contributor is genuine or not this picture illustrates a point. And when you say the article wouldn't lose anything, it's another way of saying "You could just picture it all in your head". But this encyclopedia is aiming at showing how things look, not just leaving everything up to your imagination. Remember that someone like me (girl), doesn't have as much reference to it. On the top of the article page there is a woman in full nudity, masturbating. And yet people have a problem with a guy fully clothed (he's even wearing socks for goodness sake) and it's pornographic. In my opinion it's not even enough, there should be a picture of a fully naked man doing it if you're really trying to illustrate a point and really don't care about censorship. The way he's fully clothed just puts emphasis on shame of nakedness. The minute you try to censor anything it will get out of hand, and wikipedia will be ruined. I know there are limits but a picture of a penis is not anywhere near where we should draw the line. 24.91.140.27 ( talk) 17:45, 11 October 2008 (UTC) reply

He's sliding the skin along the shaft, rather than sliding his hand along the skin. I stopped masturbating that way when I discovered the joys of lube. I'd say this should be deleted as inaccurate; unless I'm an exception to the rule, this doesn't display the technique used by most men. Of course, it's difficult to portray masturbation accurately in photos, whether male or female. Short video clips would be better, if that's possible or allowed here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.105.224.161 ( talk) 03:13, 18 October 2008 (UTC) reply

There is a request for deletion template, however, the discussion has been closed since it has been agreed that wikipedia is not censored. However, the request for deletion template remains, despite the verdict that the image will be kept. Since I am somewhat new, I don't know how to remove the template or if I am allowed to, but someone should take it off since it is no longer a candidate for deletion.
