This map is partly the product of mere phantasy! For exapmle it schows arab dialects in regions, where there are no autochthone arabic spaekers like in southern Sudan or in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. For ather regions, like for example central Arabia, there are no scientific data about the dialects.
