The source country of this work is likely to be the United States, as Utermohlen's name is listed in "A Finding Aid to the Lee Nordness business records and papers, circa 1931-1992 (bulk 1954-1984)" within 1966-1968, the time period in which this was created in. According to the Smithsonian Institution, this record "documents seven New York City art-related companies with which [Lee] Nordness was involved: Talent Discovery Company, The Little Studio, Ltd., American Art Expositions, Inc., Nordness Gallery, Inc., Lee Nordness Galleries Art Advisory Section, Inc., Lee Nordness Galleries Exhibition Section, Inc., and Forms & Objects, Inc." [1]

There were also no registration for Utermohlen's works in the US in 1967 (January to June - p. 124, July to December - p. 295), 1968 (January - June, p. 124; July December, p. 286) and 1969 (January to June - p. 112; July to December - p. 286) after the creation of this work.
