English: Gold torque from Ribadeo. Formed by a solid rod with a square rhomboidal section, with very marked edges, of decreasing thickness towards the ends. The finials are shaped like a double scotland, one of them has an element inside that acts as a "rattle". Both ends are joined to the rod by welding. The ring has been shaped by hammering and subsequent polishing. Origin: Ribadeo, Lugo. 5th-2nd century B.C.E. Diameter: 15.70 cm; maximum thickness: 1.10 cm; minimum thickness: 0.80 cm; Weight: 287.70 g. Finish: Length: 2.80 cm; diameter: 2.80 cm. Inv. no. 1943/9/1. National Archaeological Museum of Spain.
Español: Torque de oro procedente de Ribadeo. Formado por una varilla maciza de sección cuadrada romboidal, con aristas muy marcadas, de grosor decreciente hacia los extremos. Los remates tienen forma de doble escocia, uno de ellos tiene en su interior un elemento que actúa como "sonajero". Ambos remates se unen a la varilla mediante soldadura. El aro ha sido conformado mediante martillado y posterior pulido. Procedencia: Ribadeo, Lugo. Siglo IV-II a. C. Diámetro: 15,70 cm; grosor máximo: 1,10 cm; grosor mínimo: 0,80 cm; peso: 287,70 g.
