English: Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Emily Summers uses a sound powered phone to establish communications with Damage Control Central during a general quarters drill onboard the submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39) on Feb. 28, 2006. The Land is en route to the Gulf of Guinea off of the west coast of Africa to initiate a series of security cooperation activities with various West African Nations. Summers is a Navy yeoman onboard the Land. DoD photo by Petty Officer 2nd Class Jonathan Kulp, U.S. Navy. Released to public and available for download.
