Description

An ad from a 1932 issue of Advertising Arts featuring all four weights of both Metro No. 1 and No. 2, touting the No. 2 replacement characters as a way for the typeface to do "double duty". Of particular note is the straight-bar e on the Metro No. 1 side, which was an alternative to the original curved e even before the introduction of Metro No. 2.
