Liu Qixiong, a Chinese soldier who fought at the battle of Nanking against the Japanese military, was hiding in Nanking Safety Zone and caught as a POW. He was being used as a coolie for a while, but later, he became the commander of the 261st Brigade of the 87th Division for Wang Jingwei's pro-Japanese government.
