Deutsch: Von 1513 bis 1595, dem Jahre des Übergangs des Ortes von Baden an Württemberg, wies das Siegel der 1422 mit Stadtrecht begabten, aber doch Dorf gebliebenen Weinbaugemeinde einen Weinstock auf, der mit dem badischen Schild belegt war. Nach dem Ankauf führte Württemberg das jetzige Wappen ein, das eine wohl zum Untertaneneid erhobene Schwurhand unter der württembergischen Hirschstange zeigt. Nach wechselnden Darstellungen in Siegeln, Zeichnungen und Drucken des 16. und 17. Jahrhunderts, in denen zuweilen die Hirschstange fehlt, setzte sich die jetzige Form durch. Die Farben Schwarz und Rot galten seit dem frühen 19. Jahrhundert als die württembergischen. Das Landratsamt Ludwigsburg hat die Flagge am 4. August 1980 verliehen.
