Posteriormente fue usado por los pobladores del lugar como resguardo y corral para el ganado de donde proviene su nombre actual: Cueva Cabrera.

English: "Cueva Cabrera", deposit of the first archaeological rest dated in Neolithic (4000 BC) in the municipality of La Guardia de Jaén.

Later, it was used by the settlers of the place as defense and corral for the cattle (goats), from where comes its present name: Cueva Cabrera ("Goatherd Cave" in English).
