English: Caucasus Greek officer from Muzarat, Ardahan District: Major Christos Adamidis of the Imperial Russian Army of the Caucasus, Greek contingent. Born around 1860, while still a youth Christos Adamidis joined the Russian army and fought in the 1877-78 Russo-Turkish war, eventually becoming a commander in the Greek contingent of the Russian Army of the Caucasus
