Vulcan family of launch vehicles manufactured by American launch service provider and aerospace manufacturer
United Launch Alliance. The logo takes the form of a stylised "V", with the left half of the letter consisting a traditional straight stroke in grey and the right half consisting two red shapes representing a fire – the
mythological Vulcan, from which the family takes its name, was worshiped by ancient Romans as the god of fire. The family currently includes the Vulcan Centaur, due for its maiden flight in 2021, and the Vulcan ACES, to be developed in the mid-to-late 2020s. This logo was recreated in
Inkscape 0.92, based off an
image hosted by collectspace.com.
