Summary

I (Professor Gabriel Robins) have arranged the meeting between Sting and Randy Pausch on Nov 6, 2007 (for proof of this, please see Randy's acknowledgment of this on his own home page at http://download.srv.cs.cmu.edu/~pausch/news/index.html - search that page for "Gabriel Robins") I have released this photo (and all other photos that I took of Randy) into the public domain.

Randy was a close friend of mine since 1992 until he passed away (for proof of this, please see page 151 of his book "The Last Lecture"), and I created Randy's memorial Web site at http://www.cs.virginia.edu/~robins/Randy/

I am generally concerned that (presumably well-meaning) folks are damaging Randy's Wikipedia page by being too pedantic, and ironically, most of these people didn't even know Randy personally. Please lets all work together to keep Randy's Wikipedia page high-quality, and not undo good and useful edits that were made to it by people who knew and cared about Randy and his legacy.
