Summary

Description

Ball-and-stick model of an oxepin molecule, C6H6O, based on the crystal structure of dibenzo[b,f]oxepine (an isomer of dibenz[b,e]oxepin) reported in J. Am. Chem. Soc. (2020) 142, 14985-14992 ( CSD entry DBOXEP12). The benzene rings of dibenzo[b,f]oxepine were removed manually and hydrogens added in their place.

Colour code:

Carbon, C: grey
Hydrogen, H: white
Oxygen, O: red
Model manipulated in Avogadro 1.2 and image generated in CCDC Mercury 3.8.
