English: This image shows Monument Peak, which is prominent east of the old mining town of Lake Valley, New Mexico. The peak is underlain by Rubio Peak Formation, a volcanic and volcaniclastic formation composed mostly of andesites and latites that is part of the Mogollon-Datil volcanic field.
