Summary

Description
English: Sign E1-3 “Interchange Advance Guide (3 destinations)” from the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. This sign was present in the 2000 edition as sign E1-1a, as a variant of sign E1-1, which was identical except for the legend "2 miles". [1] As of the 2009 edition, both signs continued to be given as examples of interchange advance guide signs, but these signs were no longer numbered. [2] As of 2023, the series E1-1 through E1-3 is now organized by the number of lines of destinations on the sign, implying that the sign is E1-3 for its three lines: U.S. Route 56, Metropolis, and Utopia.
