Ce voilier est un catamaran Lagoon 620 construit par l’entreprise Construction Navale Bordeaux (à Bordeaux) et lancé en 2015. Il mesure 18,90 mètres de long et 10 mètres de largeur. Il est immatriculé à Tokyo. Son propriétaire japonais est resté quelques mois à La Rochelle avant d’effectuer une longue traversée, en passant par le canal de Panama, pour emmener son bateau au Japon, à Yokohama.
