Deutsch: Das erste S(IGEL) DES GERICHTS KIRDORF (Abdrr. 1557-1575) und das zweite GERICHTSSIEGEL ZU KIRDORF (Abdrr. 1754-1810/Sgst. erhalten) zeigen den hl. Petrus - dort in halber, hier in ganzer Form - mit dem Schlüssel in der Rechten. Der Wappenvorschlag übernimmt aus den beiden Siegeln das heraldisch eindrucksvolle Symbol des Kirchenpatrons, den Schlüssel, in seiner gedoppelten Form.
Der vierherrische, seit 1775 ganz zu Hessen gehörende Ort, der früher Kirchdorf oder Kirdorf genannt wurde, ist 1816 an Nassau gefallen. Die seitdem geführten Gemeindesiegel verzichten auf jedes Bild.
