English: Cairn dedicated to Joseph-René Bellot and erected on Beechey Island by Nadine and Jean-Claude Forestier-Blazart in August, 2012. Joseph René Bellot (March 18, 1826 – August 18, 1853) was a French Arctic explorer who died in an accident while taking part in an Franklin search expedition in the Canadian High Arctic.
