This car has the optional carbureted four-cylinder engine (standard was AMC's 232 cu in (3.8 L) straight six that was only available with the "Custom" package. This engine is a version of the Volkswagen/Audi 2.0 L (120 cu in) inline-four that was also used in the Porsche 924 with fuel-injection. Photographed at the 2014 American Motors Owners (AMO) convention that was held in North Charleston, North Carolina, USA.
