Fernando Navarro (born 1980) is a Spanish screenwriter. He is also a music critic. [1]
Fernando Navarro was born in Granada in 1980. [2] After considering to try to become a drummer for a music band, he started writing film screenplays. [3] He has since penned or co-penned the screenplays of Toro, Spy Time, Veronica, Muse, [3] Taxi to Gibraltar, [4] Unknown Origins, [5] Below Zero, A Perfect Enemy, [3] and Venus. [6] He has also formed part of the writing team of television series Matadero and ¿Qué fue de Jorge Sanz? . [5]
He has been nominated twice to the Goya Awards; [7] for Veronica ( Best Original Screenplay) [8] and for Unknown Origins ( Best Adapted Screenplay). [9]
In 2022, Navarro released his first book, Malaventura, published by Impedimenta. [10] [11]
