Esfandan Rural District ( Persian: دهستان اسفندان) is in the Central District of Komijan County, Markazi province, Iran. [3] Its capital is the village of Esfandan. [4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 9,074 in 2,358 households. [5] There were 4,888 inhabitants in 1,432 households at the following census of 2011. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 4,372 in 1,394 households. The most populous of its 10 villages was Esfandan, with 1,188 people. [2]
