Ersi Rural District ( Persian: دهستان ارسي) [3] is in the Central District of Jolfa County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran. [4] Its capital is the village of Ersi. [5]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,779 in 1,408 households. [6] There were 4,250 inhabitants in 1,408 households at the following census of 2011. [7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,589 in 1,655 households. The most populous of its seven villages was Livarjan, with 1,900 people. [2]
