The Electoral Service ( Spanish: Servicio Electoral, SERVEL) is the organ of the state that arranges and supervises elections in Chile. [1] Among its functions is also the maintenance of an electoral archive. [1] As of April 2024 its councilors are Andrés Tagle Domínguez, Alfredo Joignant, María Cristina Escudero Illanes, Pamela Figueroa Rubio and David Huina Valenzuela. [2] Tagle Domínguez presides the council. [2] The counselors are named by the President of Chile in agreement with the Senate. [3]
