Egiertowo [ɛɡʲɛrˈtɔvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Somonino, within Kartuzy County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. [1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south of Somonino, 11 km (7 mi) south of Kartuzy, and 32 km (20 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
During the German occupation of Poland ( World War II), the Germans executed seven Poles from Egiertowo in the forest near Kartuzy and executed three Poles from Połęczyno in Egiertowo (see Nazi crimes against the Polish nation). [2]
