Edward Adderley Stopford (1810–1874) was an Irish Anglican [1] priest. [2]
The son of Edward Stopford, [3] Bishop of Meath from 1842 to 1850, [4] he was educated at Trinity College, Dublin. [5] He held incumbencies at Caledon [6] and Kells. [7] He was Archdeacon of Meath from 1844; [8] and Vicar general of Meath from 1848: [9] [10] holding both offices until his death.
His wife Anne died on 13 June 1891. [11] Their daughter Alice Stopford Green was an Irish historian. [12]
