Edmonton's International BeerFest / Locally known as Edmonton BeerFest / Globally as The International BeerFest is an annual festival held in early spring in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. [3] [4]

Event

The festival allows patrons to sample beers, lagers and ales from around the globe [5] brought in by different vendors, microbreweries, and pubs from around the world, with a focus on Alberta and Canada. [6] [7]

The first events sold out. [8] Since then, the event has won the City of Edmonton's local magazine Vue Weekly's Golden Fork Awards for best Beverage Festival/Event in both 2014 [9] and 2015. [10] Beerfest then received runner up in the same category in 2016, [11] 2017, [12] and 2018. [13] [14] Approximately 25,000 people have attended in past years. [15] [16]
