Dweck or Douek ( Arabic: دويك, Hebrew: דוויק, דוויך, דואק) [note 1] is a Sephardic Jewish surname, meaning "cockerel" or "long-necked earthenware jug." [1] Many of its bearers belong to a Kohenitic family originating in Aleppo, Syria. [2]
