Duncan was platted in 1900. [3] The community's population was 25 in 1902, [4] and 20 in 1925. [5] The population was 75 in 1940. [6]
Duncan is located at 43°6′16″N 93°42′40″W / 43.10444°N 93.71111°W, [7] 4.6 miles (7.4 km) east of Britt and 5.4 miles (8.7 km) west of Garner, along U.S. Route 18.
