Drenovci ( Hungarian: Drenóc, German: Drenowitz, Bosnian: Drenovci, Serbian Cyrillic: Дреновци) is a village and municipality in the Vukovar-Syrmia County in Croatia. The municipality is part of Slavonia.
According to the 2011 census, there are 5,174 inhabitants, in the following settlements: [3]
87.05% of the population are Croats. [4]
Directly elected minority councils and representatives are tasked with consulting tasks for the local or regional authorities in which they are advocating for minority rights and interests, integration into public life and participation in the management of local affairs. [5] At the 2023 Croatian national minorities councils and representatives elections Bosniaks and Serbs of Croatia fulfilled legal requirements to elect 10 members minority councils of the Drenovci Municipality with Serb council remaining unelected due to lack of candidates. [6]
