Drass, or DRASS, [1] is an Italian manufacturing company headquartered in Livorno, whose best known for their range of midget submarine and swimmer delivery vehicle. [2] They also have a line of hyperbaric chambers for diver decompression. [3]

History

Drass was founded in 1927 and set the world record for deep diving immersion with an atmospheric diving suit in 1937. [4] Drass has built vessels for both the Italian military and the export market. [5]

After the collapse of Cos.Mo.S in the early 2000s, Drass took over many of its product lines. [3]

The SRV-300 is a deep-submergence rescue vehicle that is rated to dive up to 300 m (980 ft). [6]

DG-160

The DG-160 is a midget submarine that has a estimated displacement of 169 tons submerged. [7] [8]

DG-550
