Hey,

Your article overall looks good, I'm able to click on the links, and I definitely like how you broke down the "Activities" and "Ideology" sections with the different sub-sections being bolded. I think this helps the reader understand what sub-sections they are looking at and gives clarification of that section overall. On the other hand, I was wondering if there was something significant of the Formation (Convention of 1855) besides James McCune Smith being the first black person to have a chair position on the national convention. As in what did this formation help the Radical Political Abolition Party? Or better yet how did James McCune Smith being the first black person to have a chair position help his career; in addition to him being the first person of color being recognized for this overall (later on)?

Similarly, when it comes to the section of "Disintegration" what are these prejudices and convictions of the time? I'm guessing but I could be wrong it's related to slavery, abolitionist movements, political parties. I feel it might be best to clarify on the overall outcome of the disintegration, in case someone assumes and what they think the actual outcome is different then how you see it. Hopefully, that makes sense.

Lastly, I think it might be helpful to add links to the "Whigs," "Democrats," and "Know-Nothing Party" under "Distinctions from Contemporary Parties" if your in the process of adding these links then disregard my statement. But, overall it's a really good draft, and I like your topic, all of the political parties flow into one another smoothly. Elanna01 ( talk) 01:50, 25 February 2024 (UTC) reply

Hey, this is very well done! One thing I would do is move the disintegration part to the bottom of the page as it follows Dejanae123 ( talk) 05:39, 2 March 2024 (UTC) reply

If there is enough information, you could go more into detail about the different pamphlets, and the stuff they covered Dejanae123 ( talk) 05:40, 2 March 2024 (UTC) reply
I would also add a section that talks about the backlash against them either socially or politically, because this would add more context about the era that they were in. I think it is important to discuss their opponents Dejanae123 ( talk) 05:50, 2 March 2024 (UTC) reply
I would flesh out the activity section and maybe the legacy section if possible. Otherwise, these are my only notes, and I think you did very well! Dejanae123 ( talk) 05:51, 2 March 2024 (UTC) reply
