The draft hasn't been edited for over a year - should it be deleted ? DexDor ( talk) 20:27, 28 September 2014 (UTC) reply

Nah. That would be a step backwards, and forces the issue to all or nothing. We should think incrementally: building the heading structure (skeleton) of an outline is a necessary phase of development. Having a skeleton in place is convenient. New editors probably won't know how to generate the heading structure via template, and may wind up doing it manually -- having it in place waiting for them saves them all that work. Besides, this draft is a reminder that an outline is needed and planned for this subject. The Transhumanist 19:41, 3 August 2016 (UTC) reply

Brief explanation of Wikipedia outlines

Outlines are a type of list article. Each outline is about the subject identified after "Outline of" in the title. "Outline" refers to the format of the article...

" Outline" is short for "hierarchical outline". There are two types of outlines: sentence outlines (like those you made in school to plan a paper), and topic outlines (like the topical synopses that professors hand out at the beginning of a college course). In Wikipedia outlines, the hierarchy is maintained through the use of heading levels and indented bullets.

Outlines on Wikipedia are primarily topic outlines that serve 2 main purposes: they provide taxonomical classification of subjects showing what topics belong to a subject and how they are related to each other (via their placement in the tree structure). They also serve as subject-based tables of contents linked to topics in the encyclopedia. See Wikipedia:Outlines for a more in-depth explanation. The Transhumanist 19:42, 3 August 2016 (UTC) reply

Missing information

“Torsades de pointes” bullet is incomplete. “A polymorphic arrhythmia that can be symptomatic and tends to resolve to a normal sinus rhythm. However, there is a concern” is the entire paragraph. I don’t know enough about it to edit it myself. 2601:249:1180:72D0:448E:8D9C:C269:9E0E ( talk) 13:30, 18 January 2022 (UTC) reply

Diagnostic Tests and Procedures

Needs a link and information for nuclear imaging in cardiology. This technically includes stress testing but is such a big topic that it would benefit from its own link. Stress testing can also be done w/o nuclear imaging. Phillyshell ( talk) 04:33, 13 February 2024 (UTC) reply

Anatomy section

Needs link to Aortic (left ventricle) and Pulmonic Valve (right ventricle) in Anatomy section Phillyshell ( talk) 05:47, 15 February 2024 (UTC) reply
