Biography of a living person
I have read and understand the guidelines for biographies of living persons as outlined in
WP:BLP. I believe I have followed these guidelines, as I have referenced as thoroughly as possible every sentence, so as to avoid an unsubstantiated claims, as well as writing in a neutral tone.

Notability criteria
I have read and I believe understood the notability criteria for academics on
WP:PROF.
It is my contention that the subject of this article is notable under those criteria, particularly criteria (2) (Professor of English Law is a Grade 12 position at the University of Cambridge, the highest position available). [1]Criteria (5) 'Professor of English Law' is the equivalent of a named chair position such as a 'Reguis Professor' at Cambridge, as it 'indicates a comparable level of achievement' (from
WP:Prof), as per the salary grading scale.[1]Criteria (6) Deputy chair of the law faculty at cambridge is an appointment to an administrative post at the highest-level of a major academic institution
