Sources at the library

Luckily for me, many of these sources are available in libraries not too far from where I’m at.

Be patient I’ll head over to these libraries and read through the books.

The problem is that going to the library to find sources for this cite is kinda of an all day thing. Let’s just say these libraries are just really massive. CycoMa1 ( talk) 19:39, 31 May 2024 (UTC)

By the way I think I found a way to get access to these sources. CycoMa1 ( talk) 20:30, 1 June 2024 (UTC)

It uses the term original character many times. CycoMa1 ( talk) 18:14, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
By the way the source claims the term original character appeared in 2008. Wiktionary shows sources where OC came earlier. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/OC#English
I guess the term OC or Other character came first. Then original character appeared in 2008 and was later applied to OC.
Haven’t a source for that claim obviously. But anyway, this does indeed show OC was around during the 1990s. CycoMa1 ( talk) 18:46, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
Forgive, that is. why I am using drafts. Trust me I am now in a quiet and non-distracting enviroment. When I written these mistakes, I was distracted. CycoMa1 ( talk) 19:23, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
Another here.
However, I am not sure it should be included. It doesn't say too much on the concept.
I will see what I can do. CycoMa1 ( talk) 19:27, 2 June 2024 (UTC)

I know for a fact I am done with the cosplay and the sonic subsections for sure. CycoMa1 ( talk) 17:03, 10 June 2024 (UTC)

OC and Mary Sue

Noticed a lot of sources seem to connect the concept of Mary Sue to OC. It is kind of obvious why this is. By definition the Mary Sue from the 1970s is a OC. However, I can't seem to find evidence that the term OC was around during the 1970s. It seems to be a term created in the 1990s. CycoMa1 ( talk) 15:30, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
