William Samuel (1924-1996) is the pen name of William Samuel Levey, an American writer, metaphysician and philosopher.

Samuel grew up and spent much of his life in Mountain Brook, near Birmingham, Alabama.

He was an American infantry Captain during World War II and fought in China and Korea.
