Venturus is a brazilian technology center [1] [2] founded in 1995, headquartered in Campinas. It specializes in developing physical and digital products and services for companies in manufacturing, utilities, healthcare, payment systems, and other sectors. [3] [4]

Originally born as Informat and associated with Ericsson, Venturus evolved into an independent Institute of Science and Technology in 2005. Currently, the company's primary focus is on technological innovation, employing artificial intelligence, IoT, robotics, and computer vision. [5] [6] [7]

History

In 1995, Ericsson established Informat [8] (Institute of Research and Development in Computer Science and Automation), an in-house technology institute designed to enhance internal processes and bring innovation to products.

In 2005, Informat became an independent Institute of Science & Technology, adopting the name Venturus - meaning 'what will happen' [9] in Latin.

A year later, in 2006, Venturus relocated from Indaiatuba, where it had been for five years, to Campinas in the interior of São Paulo. Years later, the company moved again, this time to the district of Barão Geraldo in Campinas, where it is currently located. As of 2023, Venturus had over 600 employees.

In 2022, Venturus was ranked as the 5th best company to work for in the interior of São Paulo in the medium-sized category and the 34th best national company with 100 to 999 employees. [10] [11]

Venturus operates in various markets, from agribusiness to manufacturing, with clients such as LG, Asus, Mercado Bitcoin, Fiat, Compal, Epson, Motorola, and others [12] [4]
