Susan Schulze Hoff is an American business executive, fitness model, and philanthropist, known as the co-founder of Fantesca Estate and Winery. [1] [2] She is the daughter of Richard Schulze, the founder of Best Buy. [3]

Early life and education

Susan was born in January 1965 in Minnesota and attended Henry Sibley High School until 1983. Later, she went to the University of Minnesota and earned a bachelor's degree in advertising and graphic design in 1987. Later, she attended KEDGE Business School in France to obtain an executive MBA degree in Wine Commerce Studies in 2007. [4]

Career

Susan started her career right after high school in the accounts payable department of Best Buy. In college, Susan worked in the stores of Best Buy. While working there, she made her way up the company hierarchy to her position as Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Communications Officer in 1998. [4] She founded the Best Buy Foundation in 1994, the philanthropic wing of Best Buy Inc. [5] [6] [7] She served as Chief Communications officer (COO) of Best Buy until 2006 and as CEO of the Best Buy Foundation until 2013. [8]

Susan and her husband, Duane Hoff, bought 53 acres of land in Nappa County and founded Fantesca Estate and Winery in 2004. [2] [9] Susan and her husband left their executive posts at Best Buy in 2006 to focus on their newly established wine business. [10] [11]

Modelling and fitness

Susan has been a World Beauty Fitness & Fashion (WBFF) Pro since 2013. [12] She has been featured on the cover of BodyScape Fitness Magazine twice in 2018 and 2023. [13] She is also the winner of the 2019 Mrs. North America Globe Classique Pageant. Epic Fit Magazine also featured Susan on the cover of its second edition in 2022.
