He researches and teaches the late English medieval period with a special emphasis on the Wars of the Roses and English Queenship. He is the author of three books and has been an advisor and commentator for documentaries produced for The History Channel.

Dr. Steven J. Corvi is a scholar with a Doctorate from Northeastern University in 19th-20th Century British Military History. His specialization is World War I and the study of the British Military institution with particular expertise in military leadership & the emergence of modern warfare in the 20th Century. He has presented papers to the Western Front Association ( West Point), War Studies Society, King's College (London), and Fort Hays State University (Hays, Kansas).  Dr. Corvi’s other fields of study are the American Military experience and the history of United States Airpower.

His research skills are noteworthy; resulting in anecdotal quotes from diaries and letters intimating the [First World] War's masses to unexpunged written commands and tactical orders. As time increases, the accessibility to the War, its people, and its end-result becomes vague. Steven's intentions is to educate and enlighten people of the soldiers, the masses, the horses, who suffered not only during the war, but for decades after the "war to end all wars"
