Born: August 18 of 1918
Died: October 13 of 2010
His works are distributed in the United States, Europe, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Central and South American countries and Puerto Rico.
Febus was known as "God's brush" and as the "painter of presidents, kings, and artists."
He was commissioned by the Royal Family of England to restore works of art from Buckingham Palace, belonging to the private collection of the Royal Family. During that time he was accommodated in the mansion known as "Clarence House" and shared with the Queen Mother, Majesty Elizabeth I, and with the Queen daughter, Majesty Elizabeth II and her husband.
This humble painter immortalized John F. Kennedy on canvas, at the request of the former American president himself, and his wife, Jacqueline Kennedy, asked for a portrait of him in front of the wonderful work of Febus.
Among the figures who were mesmerized by the work of this Corozal native are: Joan Crawford, Loretta Young, Lyndon B. Johnson, Joaquín Balaguer, among others.
Some of Febus' works are: "Cristo en Getsemaní", "La Carreta", among others.
