Peacock Lament [1] [2] ( Sinhala: විහඟ ප්‍රේමය) is a Sri Lankan film, written and directed by Sanjeewa Pushpakumara. The film premiered at the 35th Tokyo International Film Festival in 2022 [3] as a part of the international competition.  Peacock Lament won [4] the Best Artistic Contribution Award [5] at the festival. The film is based on child trafficking in Sri Lanka.
