MyTownTv is a Hyper-Local digital streaming media provider, The company is based in Ashland, Ky. Their Purpose is to Encourage, Educate, and Entertain the local communities, they specialize in live local community-driven programming. In positively focused ways, their current focus is on high school sports and assisting their athletes, through community-driven programming, with future expansion in local news information and original programming.

History

MyTownTv was started in 2015 as a lease access channel, on Lycom Communication, a Cable company in Louisa, Ky. Initially, they broadcast community-related content on a delay, that featured high school sports, News, and Entertainment, After some-time improving content and equipment, and with the opportunity for additional high schools the company moved its Head courters from Lousia to Ashland, Ky, and began to stream live over the internet for the first time, it was also at this time that they decided to move away from Lycom Communications.

After the move to Ashland, Ky, MyTownTv added Five high schools in addition to the numerous schools from around the state and region that interact with them.

MyTownTv on average Annually reaches viewers in: Over 82 Countries, and 260 states and provinces around the World. Locally MyTownTv Broadcasts through its 5 Partner Schools, Over 100 Schools, 46 Counties, and 5 States.
