Health, sports, rehabilitation is a Ukrainian scientific journal that specializes in issues related to physical education, sports medicine, the establishment of a healthy lifestyle, rehabilitation, and physical therapy. The journal serves as a platform for disseminating research findings, evidence-based information, and advancements in these fields. [1] It covers a broad spectrum of topics, including methods of physical education, preventive measures, and interventions for promoting health and well-being. The publication aims to contribute to the scientific community by fostering discussions, sharing insights, and providing valuable resources for professionals and researchers in the realms of health, sports, rehabilitation, and related disciplines. [1]
In 2015, the journal was created as an anthology of articles from a conference dedicated to the memory of Professor V.P. Zaitseva, an expert in medicine, rehabilitation and physical therapy. The Department of Sports Games at H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, who was responsible for holding the conference, became the publisher of the journal, which received state registration in 2016. Initially, publications were conducted in Ukrainian, Russian, English and Polish.
In 2018, the journal received the status of a specialized publication in Ukraine and category B status in pedagogical and physical education and sports sciences. Since 2019, all publications are published exclusively in English. The journal is included in various scientific databases, such as Scopus [2], ResearchGate [3], DOAJ, CrossRef [4], Index Copernicus [5], NBUV [6], Google Scholar and Open AIRE.
Inclusion in the Scopus [2] database occurred in June 2021, after which the first two issues for 2021 were indexed in August of the same year. In March 2022, the journal received its own personal page in Scopus [2], and in June 2022, citation indicators began. On June 6, 2022, the journal was included in category A of specialized publications of Ukraine in three areas: medicine, pedagogy and physical education and sports.
